UnixTools.com has helped people with Unix problems since the early 2000s. It started as a consultant's collection of notes and links for training staff and fixing systems, with a guide to securing HP-UX that thousands of sites linked to. Much of the old material described systems that no longer exist, so every page has been rewritten for the Unix and Linux systems people run today, while the old addresses still work.
